Telford based Wintech Engineering Limited have recently undertaken the Regulatory Air Leakage Test on the Media Hub Building at the London 2012 Olympic Site. Appointed by Prater Limited and under the control of Main Contractor Carillion PLC, the successful test was carried out recently. Now all the hot air created by the world’s media will stay in the building!
The main Olympic Stadium for the London 2012 Games is almost complete. Telford based UKAS accredited Testing Laboratory Wintech Engineering Limited have been involved in testing the Facade for water leakage by undertaking a CWCT recognised BS EN 13051 Spraybar Test. Appointed by Prater Limited, the Facade Contractor, the testing was undertaken earlier this year.
Telford based UKAS accredited Testing Laboratory Wintech Engineering Limited have been involved in testing the Facade of the buildings that make up the Athletes Village Accommodation for the London 2012 Olympics. Wintech have had a number of teams undertaking a combination of CWCT Section 9 Hose Testing and BS EN 13051 Spraybar Testing for over a year.
Wintech Engineering has been appointed to provide ASTM and CWCT Facade Testing for The King Abdullah Financial District in Saudi Arabia on three individual plots. The testing on all three mock up samples is currently scheduled to be executed at our dedicated test facility in Telford during July and August 2011.

Shropshire based UKAS accredited Building Envelope Testing Laboratory, Wintech Engineering Limited, unveils its new Automated PAS 23 Door Cyclic Testing Equipment. The company has invested heavily in the past 6 months to improve its laboratory administration systems and infrastructure in order to accommodate new PAS 23 cyclic testing equipment to offer its growing customer base an exemplary testing service in accordance with a selection of some of the following Testing Standards:
- *PAS 23-1: 1999 & PAS 24-1:2007+A1:2009*
- BS EN 7950: 1997
- *BS EN 1191 & 92: 2000*
- BS EN 6375 part 2: 2009
*We are not currently accredited for these tests and are awaiting the outcome of recent UKAS assessments.
